JUMP TO
Dedicated to new and thought-provoking work.
I bring a piece of myself to every character.
I’m the bubbly, outspoken
girl next door.
The educated, inviting ingenue in a period piece.
The quick-witted,
coming-of-age daughter.
Empathetic, ambitious, genuine.
I dive into a character. I love to learn how they think, how they are when no one is watching. Paying attention to the small details to create the bigger picture.
I work hard to create memorable moments within scenes, to allow space for my character and scene partner to really hear each other, and I aim to invite the audience in on my journey right away.
I always aim to trust my instincts, and go where my heart takes me.
Being an actor requires me to live more authentically, and I am constantly on a journey to delve deeper into myself, my abilities, and my creative voice. I’m passionate about the power art has, and hope to continue to be involved in inclusive, thought-provoking work.
It’s truly addictive being a part of something that has the power to shift perspective and impact someone- even in the smallest way.
Hey! I’m Christina!
In school, I studied theatre and found a love for devising, viewpoints, and the Suzuki method. While my training was untraditional, I started creating new work, and have since been drawn to art that pushes creative boundaries. I dove deeper into my love for film as well, completing a minor in film studies. After graduation, I moved to NYC to pursue theatre.
I became a founding member of a devising theatre company, The Journalists.
Held an arts education internship at Atlantic Theater Company.
Spent a summer acting in the park.
Collaborated with friends, performed in cabarets, took classes.
Booked a show that ended its run just days before the pandemic would put live theatre on hold...
Life in NYC taught me a lot about myself, and what I want out of my career. So after almost three years, I decided to make a life change. I packed up and headed to LA.
Adaptable.
I explore all genres.
From period pieces to newly devised.
Marianne in Sense & Sensibility
Marianne is one of my favorite roles. She presents herself full force, she doesn’t hesitate to tell everyone who she is or how she feels. She had to grow up so quickly, which was both exciting and painful, but she led with her heart the whole way through.
It was a joy to experience the complex highs and lows of such a fiercely intelligent character who felt so deeply.
The Journalist Theatre Company
After school, the first thing I auditioned for in New York was The Journalists. With a background in physical theatre and devising, I knew this would be a perfect match.
Two and a half years later, being a part of The Journalists has made me a better artist by shifting me outside my comfort zone. I have devised, choreographed, written, voiced, and directed through The Journalists and praise our dedication to creating thought-provoking work.
Demo Reel
I’ve been continuing my On-Camera training remotely over the past six months through LA: On Camera with Jamison Haase. Being at home has been a great opportunity for me to practice my craft and stay on the ball!
